After graduating from Kent State University, Michael Raymond migrated to California where he held various writing jobs in the technology industry while studying screenwriting at UCLA. While pursuing his screenwriting career in such far-flung places as Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Australia, Michael was awarded the prestigious New Writers Scheme award in Australia for his erotic drama Gypsy Soul. Over the years, Michael has developed a diverse body of screenwriting work, including scripts that have earned the following distinction:

Despite his previous vagabond tendencies, Michael now resides permanently in his adopted home of Seattle, WA. When not developing screenplays and films, Michael works as a Writer for the Seattle-based Disney Interactive Media Group (DIMG).
